Porsche

I honestly don't think we travelled through Germany in the right direction or at the right pace. We felt the pressure of getting south as soon as we could; to chase the weather.
Leaving in September meant that we were out of season for most of our travels, which in itself made the whole journey a bit cheaper, but also makes the weather poorer and many sites closed.
Our ideal was to travel east to Berlin and then head south, however we decided against this when we calculated the extra cost in just diesel alone and the extra time it would have added before getting somewhere warmer.
So when we got to Bavaria, I felt a pang of remorse. We were on our way to exiting Germany and we had seen such a small area. We discussed going home via Poland and north eastern Germany.

Before leaving The Black Forest, we took a day trip to the Porsche Museum, which was just outside Munich. We had plans to travel over night again and the porsche museum was a great last stop.
